What areas do you cover?
We are based in Cambridge and cover every town and village within roughly 35 miles — including Ely, Newmarket, St Ives, Huntingdon, Saffron Walden, Royston, Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds and many more. See our locations page for the full list.
Is any job too small?
No job is too small. A single shelf, a dripping tap or one stubborn flat-pack is absolutely worth booking. In fact, batching several small jobs into one visit is the most cost-effective way to work.
Are your quotes really free?
Yes. Every quote is free and comes with no obligation whatsoever. We give you a clear price and honest advice before any work starts, so you always know where you stand.
How are your prices worked out?
It depends on the job. Smaller and mixed odd jobs are usually charged by the hour, so you only pay for the time on site, while larger or well-defined jobs are quoted as a fixed price. Either way you get a clear figure up front.
Do you bring your own tools and materials?
We arrive fully equipped with tools and common fixings and consumables. For specific materials — a particular tile, paint colour or fitting — we will either tell you what to buy or pick it up for you by arrangement.
How quickly can you come out?
For most jobs we can usually arrange a visit within a few days, and we always try to help sooner with urgent repairs such as a leak, a failed lock or storm damage. Get in touch and we will give you a realistic time.
Do you tidy up afterwards?
Always. We protect your home while we work, clear away our waste and leave the area clean and tidy. We will also walk you through the finished work before we go.
What kinds of jobs do you take on?

Can you handle a whole list of jobs in one visit?
Yes, and we would encourage it. Handing over your full to-do list lets us plan the visit efficiently and gets everything cleared in one go rather than over several separate appointments.
